The Santa Fe Rx Dehumidifier is a free-standing device that has been specially designed to provide quieter operation and a finished appearance, making it suitable for use in offices, libraries and schools. The Santa Fe Rx has an internal condensation pump and 20 feet of drain hose which allows the water removed to be directed outside or to a suitable drain or sink. This means no more buckets to constantly empty. The Santa Fe has the option for a secondary filter housing that can be placed on the back of the unit. The housing can hold your choice of HEPA carbon/pleated media or high efficiency (95%) filters. This supplementary filtration removes dust and other airborne allergens.

Decorating Ideas and Options The Santa Fe Rx comes with a frosty white laminate top and a white smooth cabinet design. Many decorating options can be used on the Santa Fe Rx cabinet including, painting, paneling or wallpapering. Your local kitchen or cabinet shop may be able to provide additional decorating options including wood veneer panels for the cabinet, and wood or other laminate choices for the top.

Specifications 1-1 The Santa Fe Rx is an air purifying dehumidifier. It is a free-standing indoor air quality device that provides high efficiency humidity control and air filtration to areas up to 3,000 square feet. 1-1A High efficiency dehumidifier that utilizes refrigeration to cool the incoming air stream below its dew point as it passes through the dehumidification (evaporator) coil. This cooling results in the removal of moisture (latent heat) and reduction of the temperature (sensible heat). The cooled and dried air is used to pre-cool the incoming air stream resulting in up to a 300 percent increase in overall efficiency. After the pre-cooling stage the processed air is reheated by passing through the condenser coil. The latent heat removed by the evaporator coil is returned to the air stream at this stage as sensible heat, resulting in an overall increase in temperature from the incoming air. 1-1B The standard air filtration provided by a pleated polyester and cotton blend media filter located at the air intake at the top of the unit. The efficiency rating of this filter is 40% in the ASHRAE 52-76 Dust Spot Test. 1-1C The optional HEPA filter is a micro-glass paper mini-pleat filter located in a special housing mounted on the back of the Santa Fe Rx cabinet.
